 The idea pitch

The scariest of all, displaying your ideas for examination and critcism

The big pitch consists of the developed idea and conceptualization of the opening sequence. Specifically, there are detailed treatment, brief of the plot, a glory moodboard of both movie references and Saigon's icons.

 

I was really excited to create the pitch

As it aligns with what I'm familar working on, and to wrapped your idea into plastic, and think about it critically from different angles (from the audience perspectives, per se, to see how would the idea be conveyed to). Moreover, a pitch would encourage me to think of the concept more throughly, not only the symbolism and iconography side of it, but rather the aesthetic and capabilities to execute of it.

The more and more I progressed this idea as an individual project and production, the heavier and heavier it got onto me. And a group offered was much needed, to assist in terms of skills, insights and perspectives, in time that another premise was coming alongside. And thus I have the option to go forward with another premise of the group, which will be Deconstruction of Detective trope, and forgo my urban psychological thriller, which indeed carries a lot of my personal interest. 

Still, it is still within the realm of Suspense, and within the realm of subversion and deconstruction of stereotypes, none of my concern and core perspective will be missed, as it should be carried onward with the new premise. (Also I have amazing, open-minded and open for criticism teammates).
